It's perfectly safe to use them side by side in the same folder as the latest normal builds if you rename them.

I can compile a special build based on the newest master that omits that specific commit for those who're interested but there's not much point in doing that since I'd have to constantly update it to add in the newer updates that are regularly being added onto the emulator on a daily/sometimes hourly basis. The regression is due to this specific commit which was intended to fix another game. Phantasy Star Portable still has that issue with dialogue text not appearing correctly though.įirstly, reset all settings to default by deleting the ppsspp.ini file generated in the ppssppmemstickPSPSYSTEM folder, and allow the emulator to generate a new one by loading it up again. The newer OpenGL drivers bundled with the latest drivers may not necessarily be the best ones for older AMD/ATI cards, but seeing that you're on Windows 8.1, you may not have a choice in the matter.ĥ.
